Simon Parker Pilates

I started late in the fitness industry. Most trainers start around 18​,​ I started in my mid-twenties. After spending years in various industries and management positions​,​ feeling unfulfilled with what I was doing​,​ I then took a massive leap to make a career out of my hobby​,​ my life changed. The fitness industry changed my life; as I reached my late twenties​/​thirties I was getting fitter and was able to maintain a great body shape but I was training vigorously. My passion for learning grew and I became keen on many forms of fitness training​,​ then I found my love of Pilates. In my mid-thirties​,​ I started to feel the strain from exercising every day and began to focus on Pilates to help reduce back pain and muscle stiffness. This was a turning point and I felt the difference immediately. By doing just 20 minutes every day​,​ Pilates helped to restore my energy by removing the strain and I felt as if I had been given back 5 years of my youth. I now practice Pilates every day​,​ either in my classes or at home when I feel any signs of strain coming on. It has made a profound difference to my health and wellbeing.
